Somniloquy
I know I’m supposed to be posting for part 2, (don’t worry, it’s coming..banyak sangat gambar.. tak tau nak letak yang mana….) but this is too good to be passed out as an entry. Last night I heard Amirah doing the ‘somniloquy’. It’s the medical term for sleep talking activity.. you know, when you talk out-loud during sleep. Tiba- tiba jer tengah2 malam terdengar “ … It’s not broken anymore” ..ha..ha… Anak aku pun mengigau cakap omputeh. During my college years, my housemate used to tease me about mengigau cakap omputeh ni… I almost laugh last nite dengar Amirah sleep talking.. I did google about sleep talking and in one of the article, under the ‘who gets it?’.. it is reported that it occurred 50% in children and about 5% in adult. It occurs at the same rate in both men and women. It also appears to run in families. Hmm.. I kinda remembered my mum pernah cerita about my dad sleep talking too.. and the exact word is “Do I look younger?” ..ha.ha..ha.. It’s must be in the genes!

Cuti-cuti Australia - Part 1
Cuti sekolah dah start. Ihsan pun dah habis exam. It's a perfect time to jalan-jalan. So last Saturday, we went to Werribee Open Range Zoo. It's an hour drive from Melbourne city. Sampai kat situ around 11.45am, then meet up with few friends yang dah tunggu kat sana and terus beli tickets for the bus ride. It's an open concept zoo where you get to see the animals up close and personal. Tapi takdelah sampai boleh pegang, just tengok dari dalam bus jer. Amirah had a great time. Taufiq macam biasalah...takde perasaan pun tengok animals tu.. just excited with the bus bumpy ride :).
And as usual, pictures!
Ni gambar kat rose garden sebelah zoo tu, tersesat masuk sini ..:P. Pokok rose tinggal batang and daun jer.. bunga almost takde sebab dah nak winter...

It is not even winter
And yet I am freezing...
I guess most of you are familiar with the term frostbite.. but have any of you heard about frosnip or chilblain? I haven't... until recently. Been having some problems with my feet. Jari2 kaki saya sejuk and sakit2 plus gatal2... Believe or not i am wearing 3 layers of socks. My usual size 4/5 kasut dah tak muat... He..he.. i have to get myself kasut baru size 7 .. just to accomodate the layers of stockings...
I googled around and apparently my feet seem to be having the symptom of this frostnip or chilblain.
By definition:
Frostnip is a nonfreezing injury of the skin tissues, usually of the fingers, toes, ears, cheeks, and chin. Numbness and tingling are present, but no tissue injury occurs. Symptoms develop when blood vessels supplying the affected tissues narrow because of the cold temperature. Frostnips occurs at temperatures of abbout 15C.
Chilblain is a nonfreezing cold injury which, while painful, causes little or no permanent impairment. It appears as red, swollen skin which is tender, hot to the touch, and may itch. This can worsen to an aching, prickly ("pins and needles") sensation, and then numbness. It can develop in only a few hours in skin exposed to cold.
So sekarang .. malam2 before tidur kena rendam kaki dalam air panas + salt.. that's the treatment for this. And according to ada kakak kat sini yang anak dia pernah kena, .. this will go away next SUMMER.. ha..ha.. bring it on...
However mine it's not too bad.. i don't feel this everyday..just when the weather gets too cold ajer.. sabar jer lah.
