Last weekend we went to this place called Bright, which claimed to be one of Victoria's most attractive tourist destinations. The reason being, every year in autumn, the town and surrounding countryside transformed into a canvas of colors where trees ablaze with red and gold, a breathtaking display of shades.
With that description in mind, we went there with expectation.
Unfortunately, we were 2 weeks early. The season just started. The trees is still green, with few hues of yellow and red. So much for autumn scenery...
Anyway I did manage to catch a glimpse of what it should be.I bet in another 2 weeks time, Bright is going to be bright and beautiful. How I wish I could be there to see it.

Actually jalan2 kali ni was more like 'Rombongan Cik Kiah' melawat Bright. There were 14 families in this trip. Got itenaries too!! Dah lama tak ikut rombongan melawat2 ni...
So, the first itenary was to visit the largest hedge maze in Australia (that's what the signboard says). To make the visit more interesting rather than just going round and round in the maze, there were prizes for the 3 families that can find their way out from the maze the earliest. So being the uncompetitive family that we were, we just walked and let Amirah took the lead. Not surprising, we were the second last family that came out of the maze (ingatkan yang last sekali..hehe..siap berposing2 dalam maze lagik..) Anyway, it didn't matter that we did not win, because Amirah was having a good time being lost in a maze and finding our way out!

- Hedge Maze
This is how the maze looks like from bird's eye view. Notice the 2 towers in the middle?
Next stop, apple and chestnut farm. Too bad tak leh nak apple picking here, Amirah and Taufiq dah geram2 dok tarik buah apple tu..and adala err few ter'picking' jugak.. but I just pretended the apples jatuh naturally on the ground hehehe..
- Apple and Chestnut Farm
So, this is how chestnut looks like. Macam mix buah rambutan and buah getah.. if you are kampung enough, you will know mcm mana ropa nyer buah getah (from the rubber tree).
